About ContinentalCertified AvGas Engines
See in-stock engines
200 Series
For decades, student pilots learned to fly behind the O-200. The O-200-D is lighter, with no give in durability or service life.

300 Series
More power to climb and cruise. Some 360 models make up to 225 HP turbocharged and intercooled.

400 Series
Pilots call the O-470 “old reliable.” It powered most Cessna® 180 and fixed-gear 182 aircraft from 1953 to 1986.

500 Series
285 to 375 HP, naturally aspirated or turbocharged. First flown in the Beechcraft® Bonanza and Cessna® Centurion in 1964.
Certified Jet-A Engines
Jet-A engines run on the jet fuel sold at almost every airport, and on diesel too in the CD-155 and CD-170. Flight schools favor them, and major aircraft makers specify them.
- 12M+
- flight hours reported
- 78
- countries certify them, beyond FAA and EASA
- 135–300
- horsepower across four engines
- 2,100 h
- time before replacement, CD-135 and CD-155

CD-135
Same weight as the 1.7 l engines it replaces, so it drops straight in.

CD-155
Runs on jet fuel, diesel or any mix of the two. Also sold as a complete retrofit kit.

CD-170
Jet fuel or diesel. The CD-170R version is type certified for helicopters.

CD-300
The newest in the family: raw power in a small footprint.
Where the Retrofit Kit Fits
The CD-155 comes as a complete firewall-forward kit: engine, mount, propeller, dual FADEC, harnesses and gauges. It arrives pre-assembled, and a trained Installation Center fits it.
